If you would like more cover than the basic level of insurance provided by the Plan, or if you are a foreign assignee and want insurance cover in the Plan, you can apply to buy extra death and disablement (TPD) cover for yourself.

Refer to the Insurance in your super guide for more information about topping up your insurance.

The cost of this extra insurance cover is deducted from your accounts in the Plan.

There are limits on the amount of extra insurance cover you can buy as detailed in the Insurance in your super guide.

You may also be asked to provide further medical information. Any additional voluntary insurance cover will not commence until your application has been approved, in writing, by the insurer.
